When Nikki Grahame entered the Big Brother house in 2006, little did she know that she would become one of the most popular and most talked about housemates of the whole series.
On leaving the house she was inundated with requests for interviews, invitations to go on TV shows and to attend film premieres and celebrity parties. And, of course, the paparazzi followed her everywhere. Nikki has since commented on how amazing and unreal it all was and she has always been very grateful to Big Brother for giving her the opportunities that she’s had.
Many of the interviews mentioned here are on the video page and there’s a host of photos from various events in the photo gallery – so check them out.

| TV Appearances |
|---|
Nikki is a natural on TV – She’s spontaneous, funny and never afraid to speak her mind. Love her or hate her – she’s always herself and hugely entertaining, hence her National Television Award in November 2006 for Best TV Contender.
Following Big Brother she was given her own show, Princess Nikki. Nikki appeared as herself in a series of programmes where she was given a different job to do each week. The aim of the programme makers was to give Nikki the worst jobs they could find, sit back and wait for the tantrums – she didn’t disappoint! And who could blame her given that all the jobs seemed to involve dirt and / or excrement! It was very funny to watch. Not surprisingly the one programme where she actually enjoyed what she was doing and the tantrums were at a minimum was never shown – but you can see it on the video page courtesy of the people she was working for who thought she was great, as well as all the other episodes.
Many of the phrases that Nikki's used in the BB house such as "Who IS She" soon became known to a wider audience as did her "over the top" personality. Not surprisingly therefore Nikki was chosen, in 2007, to appear in a Dominos Pizza advert for their new range of pizzas. The campaign ran for 4 weeks and was very successful.
In 2009 she also starred in a video for the Bassett's Allsorts ad campaign launched by the Red Consultancy.
Interviews: Nikki attracted a lot of media attention immediately after BB when the story of her childhood anorexia came out and she did several interviews including 'This Morning' and 'Richard and Judy'. Since the publication of her book "Dying to be Thin" she has done several daytime TV interviews to talk about her book and about her life coping with anorexia, such as 'Richard and Judy', and 'The Jeremy Kyle Show'.
She has also been asked to talk about life after reality TV on 'Richard and Judy' and was interviewed on Channel 5's show 'Live from Studio 5' on the subject of whether reality TV contestants should get paid.
TV shows: Nikki's personality and rather eccentric sense of humour, not to mention her ability to laugh at herself, has led to her being asked to make many guest appearances on shows like 'T4', '8 out of 10 Cats', 'Celebrity Juice', 'Friday Night Project', Graham Norton's 'Big Finish', BBC3’s ‘Teeth Grinder’and a celebrity edition of 'The Weakest Link'. She is also one of the very few BB stars to be interviewed on the 'Jonathan Ross Show', was a judge on BBC2's 'Scene Stealers' and was a guest on Ireland's popular 'Podge and Rodge Show'.
She has also featured in various vox pop items such as BBC’s ‘Most Annoying People’ and 'Generation Sex' where she can always be relied upon to give a frank, funny and honest answers!
Presenting: Her natural vivacity, openess and ability to listen as well as talk has meant that Nikki has shown herself to be an excellent presenter and interviewer. Following her appearance on BB, Nikki was a co-presenter on 'Celebrity Juice' and, in 2008, was a guest presenter with Jeff Brazier on the 'Trisha Goddard Show' (Battle of the Sexes). She also interviewed Davina McCall on 'Big Brothers Little Brother' and, in her role as roving reporter for the programme, interviewed several stars on the red carpet including Dustin Hoffman and Michael Caine.
In 2010 she presented MTV’s 'My Super Sweet Sixteen'.
Big Brother: Nikki has regularly appeared on the BB spin-off shows, 'BBLB' and 'Big Mouth' and even made a guest appearance in Big Brother 2009 making her the only person to have been in the Big Brother house 3 times!!
